been sick for the past 3 days: low energy, sore throat, cough, sneeze, congestion, etc. nothing that i can't fight through but i really hate not feeling "normal." i've been ditching class this week so i can have some extra time to xanga. jk. so i can catch up on studying.
what's worse is that gavin's had a fever since sunday afternoon. yesterday was my turn to watch him and when he woke up at 630 am, he had a temperature of 101.4. not bad at all, but it still made me feel worried considering it was his 2nd day of having an elevated temperature. i think i got most worried though at about 730 am when he just plopped his head down on his playmat and went straight to sleep. he NEVER does that. so i took him to the hospital and the doctor thought that it was just teething. weird though cuz our Baby 411 book (written by a doctor) says that fever and teething are NOT related. huh??
anyways, gavin basically slept all day yesterday, waking up for about 30 minutes at a time, and falling asleep on my shoulder immediately after eating. i think he must've slept about 4 to 5 hours during the day. poor guy.
many of you love gavin's laughing videos. we do have a few more on file that i'll upload shortly, but i thought, "why not change things up a bit?" so here's one of him getting his shots a couple months back.
so sad. i hate watching gav in pain. on saturday, he fell and his mouth hit a block on the ground and his mouth filled with blood. my white t-shirt now has huge blood stains on both shoulders. sweet.

I think you should still ditch class so that you can xanga more. That would show true devotion.
Awwww... poor baby! Hope you feel better too. He looks so refreshed from his nap. I wish I could wake up in the morning feeling that way eberybay.
I think Gavin was sort of fake crying.... cuz right after mommy picked him up, he stopped crying, looked around, and went back to "pity me" cries again. haha. Very cute...! Hope the little guy feels better and that the fever dissipated since I saw him on Tuesday...! Poor Gavin...! Oh, and poor you. Hope you feel better too, bro!
uhhhhh you should definately get a second opinion on that fever/teething thing. one thing that college has taught me is that modern medicine is still pretty rudimentary, and that doctors aren't really that smart. i guess thats actually two things.
